Join the ladies as they create beautiful hand knit items for Union Hospital's baby wing, and other charities. This group of community minded area ladies meet every Wednesday morning in the Hospitality Room. They even plan fun day trips!


Thursday, November 6, 2008 - 6:30 P.M.
Geib Family Center - New Philadelphia

For the first nine years, the decade of the 1920¹s was a time for celebration.

The first radios were playing, Steamboat Willie and The Jazz Singer were at the movies, women got the vote, and nearly 11,000 people called New Philadelphia home.

Those were the residents who spent their Saturday nights on the downtown sidewalks.

Join master historian Fred Miller as he relives a walk down those sidewalks of the 1920¹s, looking into the windows of the businesses and the lives of the people who made up our County Seat.

An Evening of Honor

A pinning ceremony to honor each veteran followed by a light hors d'oeuvre reception will highlight this Veterans' Day tribute co-hosted by the Geib Family & Staff and Hospice of Tuscarawas County.

The Geib Family & Staff are honored to help sponsor the monthly birthday party at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center. The party is held the second Thursday of every month and includes a visit from the Balloonatik, balloons, birthday pictures of the honored guests, cards, flowers, and cake. Hospice of Tuscarawas County and the Geib Family & Staff collaborate to host this monthly Card Club. New players are always welcome! This group of friends from our local Hospice meet the third Thursday of every month to play cards, enjoy refreshments, and share in fellowship.
